The Sun is what keeps every planet in our solar system alive. It was used to be believed that it was the center of the Universe. Since then scientists have disproved it, finding that there are billions more Suns in the Universe. The Sun is a type of Plasma, made up of 70% Hydrogen, 28% Helium, 1.5% Oxygen and Nitrogen and the remaining 0.5 is made up of elements like Neon, Iron, Sulfur, Magnesium and Silicon.

The Sun is the biggest thing in our solar system. The diameter of the Sun compared to the Earth is 108 more! That's 97 times bigger than Jupiter, which can fit three Earth's in it's red storm.
