Group B The Sun

The sun which is by far the largest oblect in the solar system, and something that the whole human race depends on.
The Earth is tiny compared to the sun so small in fact we could fit about 110 earth into the size of the sun.At the sun widest point it measures 870,000 miles.over 35 times bigger then the Earth, and weighs 330,000.

The sun may look close when its in the sky but its actully 93 miles away .and it takes about 8 minutes to reach earth, even though it takes that long the sun still gives off extreme heat and maybe even a sun tan on a really hot day.

The sun burns hydrogen, which is what creates such intense heat. In fact, most of it is composed of hydrogen, with the rest being helium and a smattering of heavier elements. It burns 4 million tons of hydrogen every second to create its light and heat. You'd have to blow up 100 billion tons of dynamite every second to generate the same amount of energy.
