Group A Comets And Asteroids

Astroids and Commets are bits of rock that orbit around the sun in a belt.
Asteroids are metallic, rocky bodies without atmospheres that orbit the Sun but are too small to be classified as planets. Known as "minor planets," tens of thousands of asteroids cogregate in the so-called main asteroid belt.

A comet is an icy small Solar System body.Comets have a wide range of orbital periods, ranging from a few years to hundreds of thousands of years. Short-period comets originate in the Kuiper belt, or its associated scattered disc.
