Group 5 Phases Of The Moon

The moon is lit up by the sun, enabling you to see it at night. You think the moon changes shape, but it just gets hit by sunlight at different places. These different phases of the moon repeat as the moon orbits the earth. It starts off with the new moon, followed by the waxing crescent moon, first quarter moon, waxing gibbous moon, the full moon (halfway), waning gibbous moon, third quarter moon, waning crescent moon and then the new moon again (back at the begining).
